We are currently looking for:

1. Personal Assistant (part-time)

Want to learn all there is to learn about running a small business, particularly a jewelry business? We are looking for an all-rounder individual to personally assist the business owner on daily tasks and will get an inside look of what it's like running Poppylab. You will be given an opportunity to be closely involved in business coordination and executive-level tasks. 

Responsibilities include:
* operations and inventory support i.e. inventory count, packing, price labeling and coordinating with pop-up staff (where needed)
* ensure smooth execution of operational and administrative matters. This includes managing logistics and other operations related tasks with warehouse, QC Manager and other support staff.
* creative tasks including creation of marketing material on canva, reels on video making platforms and basic photography
* administrative and correspondence support i.e. replying to customer queries, suppliers and/or vendors, document organization and other types of coordination
* optional: opportunity to learn and pickup basic jewelry making
* other ad-hoc tasks

Requirements:
* this role is PART TIME and flexible, but there is a requirement for 10 hours a week (up to 25 hours a week)
* required: a minimum of one day a week at the Poppylab home studio in Bandar Sri Damansara for planning, coordination, and other hands-on tasks
* proficient in basic computer skills i.e. Microsoft Word/Excel and Google Drive
* responsible, detail-oriented and hard working with a good attitude
* good interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in English is a must
* willingness to learn
* able to work independently and handle confidential matters with discretion
* willingness to travel (within Selangor/Kuala Lumpur only) is an added advantage
* close proximity to Bandar Sri Damansara is an added advantage
* Training and guidance will be provided, however candidate will be required to pick up tasks and work independently after a certain time frame.

2. QC Assistant (part-time)

Poppylab is looking for someone to assist in quality inspections. This is a part-time role, where you will be mostly home based (training sessions at the Poppylab Studio in Bandar Sri Damansara in the beginning stages will be required).  

* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
* Carry out minor technical corrections and adjustments. Training will be provided.
* Pack quality-approved products according to company packaging standards.
* Ensure accurate labelling of inspected products.
* Maintain accurate records of inspection findings and quality control activities.
* Report defects, non-conformities, and quality concerns to the QC Supervisor.
* Support the team with other ad hoc tasks as required.
* Optional: Opportunity to learn and develop basic jewellery-making skills.

Requirements:
* Passionate about fashion, jewellery, and accessories.
* Meticulous, detail-oriented and someone who is ‘good with their hands’, with a strong eye for quality and craftsmanship. Interest and basic comprehension in the workings of simple mechanisms (e.g. hinges etc) is an added advantage. 
* Self-disciplined, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn basic jewellery repair and quality control techniques.
* Positive attitude, dependable, and a strong team player.
*Some experience in jewelry making, crafts is an added advantage.
* You will be required to transport products between the Poppylab Studio and the QC location before and after quality inspections. Closer proximity to Bandar Sri Damansara studio is an added advantage.
